Magal Security Lands Order to Secure Mexican Correctional Facilities

Magal's subsidiary Senstar-Stellar to supply $2.4M worth of intrusion detection and video surveillance equipment

YAHUD, ISRAEL - Magal Security Systems, Ltd. today announced that its fully owned Mexican subsidiary, Senstar-Stellar Latin America, S.A de C.V., received an order for approximately US$2.4 million to supply intrusion detection systems and video surveillance equipment for correctional facilities in Mexico.

The order, which includes the DreamBox, an all-in-one CCTV security solution which integrates a number of CCTV related applications into one box, is expected to be completed during the first half of 2006.

Jacob Even-Ezra, Chairman and CEO of Magal Security Systems, said: "This order integrates a number of our different products, including the DreamBox, our all-in-one CCTV system. This is a relatively new product which has been gaining traction in the market due to its simplicity of installation, functionality, and cost effectiveness. This particular customer is actually a return customer of ours that selects us time and again due to our strong experience with intrusion detection systems in high security environments."
