Russian Provider of IPIX Surveillance Systems Awarded for Best Product
Soling, a leading provider of high-tech security surveillance systems and the exclusive provider of IPIX (NASDAQ:IPIX) 360-degree, immersive video surveillance systems throughout Russia, announced that it has been awarded the ZUBR 2005 Award for Best Product in the Field of Surveillance for the IPIX CommandView cameras. The ZUBR award is presented annually to companies that demonstrate outstanding achievement in the development, production and installation of security systems in the fields of surveillance, access control, intruder and fire alarms, information security and disaster response.
Award winners were selected by a panel of 149 security professionals--83 experts, 42 panel members and 24 council members--and included security experts from several leading Russian organizations, including: public corporations GAZPROM, Lukoil and Vympelcom; the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, Moscow Municipal Telephone Network, Moscow Energy System and Russian JSC (Russian railways); and representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Emergency Affairs, Federal Security Service, Federal Customs Service and Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.
The examination of the award applications lasted five months and the panel was assisted by representatives of the ZUBR Award's official auditor KPMG, one of the world's leading auditing companies. In total, the panel examined 127 applications for the award and reviewed more than 4,325 pages of documentation.
"Soling is honored to have been recognized by such a distinguished panel of security experts that make up the ZUBR committee," said Sergey Kotelin, Commercial Director of Soling. "This award further validates our belief that the IPIX immersive video surveillance technology is uniquely positioned to help at-risk commercial and government facilities in Russia by providing complete situational awareness."
Soling is authorized to supply, install and support IPIX InSight, IPIX CommandView and IPIX CommandView360 systems throughout Russia. Soling has provided security systems to key Russian government and commercial establishments, including the Ministry of Defense, the Federal Security Service, Parliament of the Russian Federation, the Central Bank of Moscow, the United Energy Network of Russia and the Moscow Metro.
"IPIX is committed to establishing a global network of world-class distribution partners," said Clara Conti, president and CEO of IPIX Corporation.
