RESTON, Va. - IPIX Corporation, a premier supplier of 360-degree, immersive imaging technologies for visual intelligence applications, announced today its appointment of Jairo Rojas as vice president and managing director of international operations. Rojas joined IPIX as an international sales director in February 2005. In this new position, Rojas will manage international sales to spur company growth, specifically targeting European, Asian, Middle East and Latin American markets

Previously, Rojas served as a channel general manager at SSA Global, a provider of ERP solutions, where he overhauled the company's channel program to include acquired companies, better reward partners and generate higher sales volumes and better market control. Rojas established a channel certification program, as well as managed a sales team of 25. Prior to SSA, he worked at MicroStrategy Incorporated, overseeing its channel program throughout Asia, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. In this role, he developed strong relationships with key partners and influencers. Before MicroStrategy, Rojas also held marketing and sales positions with JBA Software Limited, Implementors UK Ltd., Synon Ltd. and IBM.

Rojas, a resident of the United Kingdom, earned a master's of business administration and a master's of finance from Colegio de Estudios Superiores (CESA) in Bogota, Colombia. He is also actively involved with Springboard, which helps retrain high-level executives seeking new careers. Rojas is also an alumni member of AIESEC, which helps young people develop and discover their potential. Additionally, he is a frequent speaker at industry events regarding global business practices.
