LAS VEGAS, NV (March 28, 2012) – Panasonic is showcasing its newest solutions at this year's International Security Conference & Exposition (ISC West) in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 28th – 30th (booth #12041). These products demonstrate a range of vertical market applications such as gaming, public safety, education and retail. The exhibit will also highlight Panasonic's dominance as an engineering and manufacturing powerhouse offering innovative products such as the new i-PRO full 1080p HD network cameras.
New cameras being demonstrated in Panasonic's new product zone include the new "5 series" full 1080p HD network cameras with Mega Super Dynamic, face detection and lens distortion compensation. The "3 series" networked fixed indoor dome, indoor and outdoor box cameras, and 720p pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras with 36x zoom are also being demonstrated, along with the smart and versatile "1 series" compact cameras featuring high picture quality, multiple H.264 high profile streams and pan-tilt (PT) functionality. Also featured are new analog cameras, including the new SD6 PTZ and fixed cameras using the new Superior Reality (SR) analog unified image processor. One full wall in the booth is dedicated to the robust Panasonic portfolio.
Panasonic's focus on providing solutions for specific market needs is being demonstrated in several innovative system configurations at ISC West. Following Panasonic's certification as an approved vendor for the Nevada Gaming Commission, a special Gaming demonstration features an integrated Panasonic hybrid system solution to facilitate the migration of analog video surveillance devices to an IP platform. Products approved by the Nevada Gaming Commission include the PMPU1000 system management server, WJ-ND400 network video recorder, WJ-GXE500 video encoder, cameras and controllers.
The ISC West booth will also be geared to highlight other application environments, including a Control Center demonstration of real-time operation for high-end security. The Public Safety zone will display solutions including integration with 4G LTE - an application that provides wireless capabilities to Panasonic cameras for a range of public safety needs including traffic control, crowd control and more - plus use of the WV-SW155 outdoor compact dome camera for a bus application. The Education zone illustrates a mid-sized system using Panasonic's i-PRO WV-ASM200 operations and management software, the WJ-ND400 network video recorder and Panasonic's full complement of i-PRO network cameras. Also on display is Panasonic's infrared (IR) audio system, which can be leveraged for classroom security, and new, flexible options for security officer monitoring. The Retail zone highlights Panasonic's WJ-NV200 digital video recorder with intelligent security including face recognition. Also featured is integration of a video recorder with a point-of-sale (POS) system and use of compact cameras in a retail environment.
