Axis Communications becomes ESA 'Silver-level Executive Strategic Partner' for 2012
Irving, Texas (May 23, 2012) — The Electronic Security Association (ESA) is pleased to announce that Axis Communications has pledged its support as a Silver-level Executive Strategic Partner (ESP) for 2012. According to IMS Research, Axis is the world’s leading provider of IP-based video surveillance solutions, including network cameras (IP cameras) and video encoders for security surveillance and remote monitoring.
“Axis’ number one goal as a company is to drive the shift from analog to digital surveillance and pave the way for a safer world through technology,” said Steve Surfaro, security industry liaison, Axis Communications, Inc. “We are truly proud and excited to be an ESA Executive Strategic Partner and look forward to mutual success and collaboration with ESA, ESX and CSAA member system integrators, security resellers and solution providers to make this goal a reality.”
Axis, the inventor of the first network camera and pioneer in the field of IP video convergence, continues to announce products and solutions aimed at providing integrators and dealers of electronic security systems with the tools necessary to deliver network-based surveillance solutions regardless of the location or size of installation. For instance, while IP video is a dominant player in systems of more than 32 cameras, solutions like AXIS Camera Companion and hosted video have recently opened up IP video sales opportunities for small camera count systems.
ESA launched the ESP program in 2008 and offers it exclusively to ESA associate members. The ESP program provides funding to support ESA programs that promote and enhance the industry. As a Silver-level partner, Axis will receive valuable and powerful exposure through all available media, as well as several event opportunities, beginning with the Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Nashville, Tenn., June 25-29, 2012.
“Executive Strategic Partners make one commitment up front and receive all-inclusive advertising and sponsorship packages that support vital ESA initiatives throughout the year,” said ESX Chair George De Marco. “We greatly appreciate their support as leaders of this industry.”
