Reston, Virginia, USA (June 6, 2012) - ObjectVideo, Inc. announced today the signing of a global patent license agreement with VIVOTEK, a leading provider of IP (Internet Protocol)-based surveillance solutions.

Owen Chen, chairman of VIVOTEK, believes that the application of intelligent devices in IP surveillance industry is critical. "We have been planning to implement video analysis on various models from each product line," said Chen. Earlier this year, ObjectVideo entered into portfolio-wide global patent licensing agreements with Tyco Security Products' American Dynamics business unit and Sony Corporation. ObjectVideo holds 47 United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and International patents, along with 49 USPTO and International patents pending in the field of computer vision.
