DVTEL highlights SMB solutions, mobile apps and end-to-end enterprise offering at Expo Seguridad
Mexico City – April 22, 2013 – DVTEL, INC., the video surveillance solutions provider, will showcase how it can scale video surveillance solutions to serve small- to mid-market users and enterprise class customers at Expo Seguridad, which will be held April 23-25, 2013, at the Banamex Center in Mexico City. At booth #3033, attendees can view the comprehensive Latitude NVMS control center, a signature product from DVTEL, as well as its new mid-market NVR, Meridian, available in 4-port and 16-port models.
DVTEL will exhibit alongside technology partner, EMC Corp., a leading provider of storage solutions. With the growing number of surveillance cameras, especially high-resolution devices, the need for secure and reliable storage devices becomes more critical. DVTEL’s collaboration with EMC delivers innovative ways to store, optimize and leverage critical surveillance data securely.
During the exhibition, DVTEL will demonstrate TruWitness, an award-winning mobile application that transforms cell phones into real-time networked surveillance cameras. TruWitness extends the coverage of surveillance networks into areas not covered by fixed cameras, and enables the deployment and use of cameras in real time. It is available to DVTEL Latitude 6.2 users and is supported on Android-based smart phones running on OS version 2.2 and above.
DVTEL’s Quasar video surveillance cameras and plug-and-play Meridian NVR will also be on display. The Quasar camera line delivers the highest quality video with the most cost effective, lowest bandwidth and storage requirements available today. Equipped with tamper and motion detection, edge-based smart search metadata and 3D Digital Noise Reduction, the high-definition cameras provide H.264 video streams for up to 30 frames persecond, and are ideal in both indoor and outdoor environments.
The Meridian NVR appliance is the first DVTEL solution to address the needs of the mid-market with an HD-quality recording system that dramatically reduces the cost of deploying megapixel video applications. Key benefits include its ease of use, ease of set-up and installation, built-inPoE-based switch to reduce network switch requirements and easy client operation.
“DVTEL is dedicated to delivering solutions that allow users to quickly access critical security data and high-quality video while simplifying complex installations for our integrator partners,” said Hans Klein, Managing Director, DVTEL, Central and Latin America. “We are excited to have the opportunity to demonstrate the power of our IP technologies to the growing Latin American market, expanding upon our already robust business in this dynamic region.”
