Samsung introductions at ISC West set new benchmarks in economy, efficiency and performance

Las Vegas, NV (April 15, 2015) – Samsung Techwin America (booth #14079) is making a strong showing at ISC West with a host of introductions that raise the company’s longstanding cost/performance value proposition. Featured introductions include the highly economical WiseNet Lite IP Camera line, IP Surveillance Kits that provide a bundled all-in-one mini surveillance system solution, the SNP-6320RH Spider Camera with 32x optical zoom that redefines outdoor surveillance, and the SNB-9000 4K UHD Camera that delivers the next generation in image performance.

The highly economical series of WiseNet Lite IP Cameras includes 1.3 MP and 2 MP Full HD IP cameras available in different configurations and feature sets. The 10 cameras in the new line include: indoor domes, indoor domes with infrared illumination, outdoor domes with infrared illumination, and bullet cameras.

Samsung’s new IP Surveillance Kits provide a bundled all-in-one mini system surveillance solution.  The kits feature the company’s new WiseNet Lite cameras and a Samsung NVR to provide a new level of convenience, performance, ease of installation and economy. The kits are bundled in four configurations including:  two outdoor dome cameras, one fisheye camera and a 4-channel 1TB NVR; four outdoor dome cameras and a 4-channel 1TB NVR; six outdoor dome cameras and an 8-channel 2TB NVR; and 12 SND-6013R outdoor dome cameras and a 16-channel NVR.

The SNP-6320RH Spider Camera features a high performance 32x optical zoom lens (4.4 ~ 140.8mm focal range) and infrared LED illuminator to clearly capture precision details at distances up to 150 meters (492 feet) in lighting levels as low as 0 lux. The camera’s 16x digital zoom provides a combined optical and digital zoom capability of 512X. Additional highlighted features include: 120dB WDR; built-in defog function; a fast frame rate of 60fps at 2MP resolution; auto tracking with handover; privacy masking; a SD/SDHC/SDXC memory slot; bi-directional audio support; H.264/MJPEG dual codec; multiple streaming; and IP66 and IK10 ratings for use in harsh environments.

SNB-9000 4K UHD 12 Megapixel Network Camera delivers Ultra HD resolution for the most challenging outdoor surveillance applications with a host of on-board intelligent video analytics including: tampering, virtual line, motion, audio and face detection. Additional highlighted features include a minimum illumination of 1.4 lux (color) or 0.14 lux (black-and-white, Samsung Super Dynamic Range (SSDR), and SSNRIII digital noise reduction.
