Company demonstrates immersive-viewing properties of its IC Realtime IC720 360x360 Virtual PTZ camera and app

Pompano Beach, FL – May 5, 2015 – At ISC West 2015, IC Real Tech once again demonstrated its position as a leading global innovator of video surveillance technologies, nabbing 3 key security industry awards for its revolutionary IC Realtime IC720 360x360 Virtual PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) video camera and changing the way in which many security system companies will present surveillance systems to their clients.

The recognition in the Security products sector arrives on the heels of January’s International Consumer Electronics Show, where tech correspondents and bloggers sang the praises of IC Real Tech’s portable consumer version (ALLie) for its ability to create and playback immersive Virtual Reality videos.  There, the camera also won several coveted industry awards.

The IC Realtime IC720 is a 24-megapixel dual-sensor 4K Virtual PTZ camera designed for professional applications.  The camera captures 360-degrees horizontally by 360-degrees vertically, accomplishing fields-of-view that until now required several security cameras to achieve.  The company’s proprietary IC720 software App seamlessly stitches together each sensor’s video feed, and via a display device, users can view from floor-to-ceiling and completely around the camera itself, either monitoring in real-time or recorded content.

Navigation is achieved by pointing the display device in the desired directions, or via finger control of the touchscreen which also accesses zoom and freeze options.  The camera has no moving parts, therefore it is free of blind spots.  IC720 Apps are presently available for iPads, iPhones and Windows Surface with versions for a wide variety of mobile devices, tablets and laptops in development.

IC720 also delivers a true Sci-Fi experience when used with Virtual Reality headsets as demonstrated at the show with headsets from both ZEISS and Oculus VR.

Jeff Kessler, Managing Director of New York-based Imperial Capital, LLC noted in his April 23, 2015 ISC West Show Report, “We believe IC720 and the ALLie product lines truly disruptive to the video solution market.  We see the real possibility of taking sales from the pan/tilt/zoom market, for replacing multiple cameras with their 360x360 cameras, and for eventually adding thermal/infrared capabilities for poor light applications as well.”

Exploring a wide variety of live and pre-recorded content on IC720 at ISC West, Richard Cannon of Merrillville, Indiana-based Technology Consultants Group said, “I’m amazed at just how liberating the IC720 experience is.  This type of immersive technology is sure to open doors for our sales & installation company in the hospitality, healthcare and public transportation sectors that we serve.  This really is a game-changer to video surveillance as we know it.”

IC Real Tech Nabs Key Award at ISC West 2015

The day before the ISC West show, IC Real Tech CEO Matt Sailor personally demonstrated IC720 to the Security Industry Association’s New Product Showcase’s (NPS) judges.  On Day One of the show, NPS winners were announced with IC720 declared as sole winner of the prestigious Judges’ Choice award.

Earlier this year, at January’s International Consumer Electronics Show, IC Real Tech demonstrated their portable consumer version of the 360x360 camera (called ALLie), which in addition to traditional video monitoring, can be used to create and playback Virtual Reality videos.  This earned ALLie international acclaim by top consumer tech / gadget media outlets including TechCrunch, The Verge, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, ubergizmodo, Crowdfunding News and more.  ALLie also made Reuters’ Best of CES list, received the Consumer Electronics Associations Mark of Excellence award, and was honored in both the Digital Imaging and SmartHome sections of the CES Innovations Awards showcase.
