    Anaheim, CA (September 28, 2015) – OnSSI, the market leader for intelligent IP video surveillance software, continues to demonstrate technology leadership with their live mobile solution for wearable cameras. This unique and powerful solution, introduced by OnSSI three years ago and featured in their ASIS booth (#938), has generated substantial market interest by delivering exceptional functionality including recording with gap stitching.

    Wearable cameras have gained attention recently for their ability to review past events. The integration with Ocularis software provides new capabilities – for example, allowing multiple cameras worn by police officers to be viewed in real time at the precinct stationhouse while also capturing and recording the video streams. In such an implementation, not only can precinct commanders receive a higher level of real-time situational awareness, but immediate assistance can also be dispatched should the officers need reinforcement.

    Adding another camera manufacturer to their roster, OnSSI announces the integration of their Ocularis video management software with Zepcam wearable body cameras. This successful collaboration gives both Ocularis and Zepcam customers enhanced capabilities to capture, manage, and process multiple tactical video streams in real time at a central management station, providing improved situational awareness for critical operations and improving officer safety.
