Milestone highlights world-leading performance and partner community at IFSEC

COPENHAGEN – June 15, 2016. Milestone Systems, the leading open platform company in IP video management software (VMS), will be at IFSEC International 2016 in London, June 21-23. On show at the Milestone booth E750 will be the full Milestone XProtect 2016 portfolio of products and the Milestone Husky M500 Advanced NVR in addition to the full range of Milestone Husky NVRs. A number of Milestone partners will be showcasing integrated solutions at the Milestone booth and throughout the showroom.

• There will be a dedicated Milestone media event at IFSEC on June 21 at 10:30 a.m. which will highlight the Milestone success through the Milestone Partner Community. The media is also welcome at the Milestone Community pub night June 21.
• The partner community will be celebrated along with their contribution to the Milestone leading market position during the booth party June 22.

Milestone Highlights partnerships and performance

Two new strategic Milestone partnerships will be announced during IFSEC. One is with a market-leading Dutch PSIM manufacturer and the other is with a global IT company. There will be interview possibilities regarding both high profile partnerships during IFSEC.

There will also be two benchmark setups at the booth highlighting the high performance of Milestone XProtect 2016 and the Milestone Husky NVRs. The Dell performance lab will showcase the new VMS Reference platform, and the Milestone proof of performance set up will show the Milestone Husky M500 Advanced NVR. 

Safer Cities and Smart Buildings

A major design objective in XProtect 2016 has been connectivity and integration abilities that enable the partner community to design highly networked and strongly integrated solutions. One example of this is the Milestone ONVIF Bridge. This feature makes an XProtect 2016 system look like a collection of ONVIF cameras to another VMS. This gives seamless private-to-public video integration, simplifying large-scale, multi-vendor security deployments. These deployments range from law enforcement to safer cities initiatives.

The partner community is essential to the Milestone business strategy and a strong partner presence in the Milestone trade show booth is illustration of that commitment. This year is no exception as partners will highlight solutions focused on the vertical sectors: Safe cities/Law enforcement and Smart Buildings.
