Hanwha Techwin announces two new hires for Canadian Sales Team

Ridgefield Park, NJ (November 22, 2016) – Hanwha Techwin America today announced that Dominique Bougie as District Sales Manager, and Carlos Varela as Regional Sales Manager have joined the company’s Canadian operation. Mr. Bougie will cover the province of Quebec while Mr. Varela will be responsible for Central Canada.

“The strength of the Canadian market is such that we must ensure a quality sales staff to support the industry,” said Tom Cook, Vice President of Sales, Hanwha Techwin America. “The addition of Dominique and Carlos help to fulfill the commitment we have to this important segment of the North American market.”

Mr. Bougie comes to Hanwha from Access Direct Sales, a leading manufacturer’s representative, where he was an account manager. Previously, he held sales and service management positions with Simplex Grinnell, Europlex and SSI Burtek.

“I believe my experience as a manufacturer’s rep and in sales positions with major integrators will help cultivate Hanwha’s success in the Quebec market,” said Bougie, “I look forward to the opportunities that are ahead as part of the Hanwha team.”

Prior to starting with Hanwha, Mr. Varela served as Regional Sales Manager and senior marketing positions for Sony Canada and ADI. He previously held sales positions with Phillips Electronics and SSI 2000.
