CompleteView 7.0 and Salient cloud services are on display

Salient Systems, a leader in open architecture video management systems, is at Global Security Exchange (GSX) to showcase its newest offering CompleteView 7.0 and Salient cloud services. CompleteView, an enterprise-ready, open video data platform will be on display at the Salient Systems booth No. 2130, September 12-14, during GSX at Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta.

GSX marks an exciting time for Salient Systems, which has been laying the foundation for the launch of CompleteView 7.0 and cloud connectivity over the past year. The new CompleteView 7.0 enables remote management and monitoring, while retaining the flexibility to leverage on-premise and cloud-based access of data. The updated video management platform also provides customers with new levels of flexibility in storage with enhancements, such as the creation of storage pools that have improved backup, overflow capabilities and new camera-based retention policies.

“The new upgrades to our flagship platform represent major advancements,” said Sanjay Challa, chief product officer at Salient Systems. “CompleteView 7.0 includes improvements to scalability and performance, a complete revamp of storage including predictive storage analytics and enables access to Salient cloud services. We are excited for the opportunity to deliver this to potential customers, integrator partners and end users at GSX.”

In addition to showcasing the new CompleteView 7.0, Salient Systems will be involved in an educational session and host a cocktail reception.

Salient System’s retail security expert will speak on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 2 p.m. as part of the X Stage at GSX. The session, called “The Retail Cyclone. It’s Real, and How to Combat it with an Open Platform VMS,” features Grant Cowan, key accounts director at Salient Systems and Keith Aubele, CPP, LPP, founder and CEO of Nav1gate Group. Keith is a former loss prevention professional at both Home Depot and Walmart. Together, they will discuss the challenges faced by retailers today such as organized crime rings, supply chain disruptions and a shrinking workforce.

Salient Systems will host a Customer Cocktail Hour at GSX. The event will be held in the Salient Systems Booth at 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13th. RSVP online to reserve a drink ticket and to be entered into a Yeti cooler raffle.
