NUUO's Titan Pro Video Recorder

Solution delivers advanced capabilities

NUUO has launched the new Titan Pro Platform for its flagship Linux-based VMS solution. Designed for mid-scale system deployments, the Titan Pro provides customers with powerful recording capabilities and enhanced features to achieve system scalability, seamless integration but still maintaining a cost for performance advantage.

The new hardware designs for the NUUO Titan Pro ramps up recording performance throughput to 550Mbps with a maximum of 32TB embedded storage and 48TB by the end of Q2. Advanced features such as boost recording, selectable recording duration by camera and the ability to assign individual cameras to a volume group, the Titan Pro can provide features to help manage recording storage space.

The newly developed Help Manager is an embedded Linux diagnostic tool to help the integrator collect system performance data over time, receive notifications when a fault condition occurs and to aid in resolving system issues in a timely manner. Whether it is with the camera, a network issue, or a hard drive failure, the Help Manager is maintaining a vigilant watch over the system. A context sensitive user manual has now been added to the NVR software to help empower the field personnel to find answers to their tech questions. It is as simple as accessing the embedded manual when the screen in question is open. No need to shuffle through the manual, the software takes you right to the section in question.

The System Navigator service allows users to manage several management servers simultaneously in one interface thanks to its multi-site support. Users can log into different management servers and configure individual servers in the same interface. Images from different management servers can also be displayed in one live view/playback screen. The single access point to all servers eliminates the need to toggle between different interfaces.

The Titan Pro is the first NUUO platform to introduce the new manual fisheye dewarping calibration tool which allows users to fine tune fisheye images manually. This ensures 100% accuracy of each dewarped image wedge. Users can optimize stream resolutions for storage and live viewing based on bandwidth or hardware conditions.

With the modular based design third-party integration, is now easier than ever to connect to other key security products, Point of Sale systems, building controls, and automation systems. Complex integration of NUUO video surveillance with the events from access control systems like the Lenel OnGuard and the Paxton products have been completed and ready for deployment in half the usual development time needed.
