ARSA Technology Introduces Edge AI Video Analytics Appliance for Existing CCTV Systems
ARSA Technology has announced the international launch of ARSA AI Box, an edge AI video analytics appliance that connects to existing IP CCTV systems to generate real-time alerts and operational data without requiring video to leave the customer's network.
The appliance processes all AI analytics locally at the customer's site and continues operating fully offline. Video remains within the customer's network unless the customer chooses to route it elsewhere.
ARSA Technology developed ARSA AI Box to address the challenges of extracting actionable information from existing surveillance infrastructure. While many sites record video continuously, footage is often reviewed only after an incident. Tasks such as visitor counting, safety-compliance reporting and traffic surveys are also frequently handled manually.
Cloud-based video analytics can require video to leave the site, while building an in-house AI system can demand servers and specialized personnel that operations, safety and facility teams may not have.
ARSA AI Box connects to existing cameras through ONVIF or RTSP, with a minimum requirement of 2-megapixel resolution and 15 frames per second. The system allows operators to add camera streams, establish detection zones and configure rules through a visual editor. Events appear in a local dashboard or can be routed through webhooks or email to existing alerting systems.
The platform supports four analytics modules. Safety Guard detects missing personal protective equipment, including helmets, vests and boots, as well as entry into hazard zones at factories and construction sites. Retail Counter measures visitor counts, capture rate, dwell time, queues and conversion for retail chains and shopping malls.
Traffic Monitor counts and classifies vehicles while tracking congestion across road networks and car parks. DOOH Audience Meter measures verified impressions, attention rate and engagement duration for digital out-of-home screen networks.
"Almost every site we work with already has cameras everywhere, and almost nobody is watching them," said Hilmy Izzulhaq, founder of ARSA Technology. "We built ARSA AI Box so a safety manager or an operations director can get live alerts and real numbers from the cameras they already own, without new servers, an AI team, or sending their video to anyone else's cloud."
Izzulhaq added that video location is a primary concern for government, defense and enterprise sites. "With ARSA AI Box the answer is simple: it stays on site."
ARSA AI Box is available worldwide in two configurations. The AI Box Mini supports up to three cameras and starts at $1,890, while the AI Box Server supports up to 25 cameras and starts at $10,900.
The appliance is purchased as a one-time hardware investment, with analytics modules licensed per camera through subscription or perpetual licensing. Units ship pre-imaged and configured with mounting hardware, a local dashboard, a remote setup session and a 12-month hardware warranty.
Organizations can explore a live demo or book consultations and demonstrations. A 60-second launch film is also available.
