Woodbridge, N.J., May 30th, 2022 – ISS (Intelligent Security Systems), a leading global provider of video intelligence and data awareness solutions, is pleased to announce that Christopher Toll has joined the company as a Regional Business Manager for North America. Specifically, Toll will be responsible for driving the company’s sales and business development efforts across all markets in the northeastern U.S.

Toll most recently served as Senior Director for Sales and Delivery at zData, a division of French-based IT services conglomerate Atos, which develops artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning solutions for a variety of industries. Prior to that, Toll worked as Senior Director of Sales at Miner & Kasch, an AI and data science consultancy firm that was acquired by Atos in April 2020.

"I couldn't be more excited to join the North American team here at ISS,” said Toll. “Coming from the enterprise AI and machine learning realm, I interfaced with my fair share of video analytics and computer vision projects; however, the offerings that ISS brings to the table from a solutions, accuracy, and capabilities standpoint are second-to-none and I'm thrilled to help in ushering in the new wave of video intelligence for our end users and partners."

Toll began his career in high-tech in 2014 at Corporate Brokers (since rebranded as Tential), a Maryland-based IT staffing and solutions delivery firm, which is where he first became acquainted with AI and machine learning technologies. He was quickly promoted to a management role at the firm and served there until joining Miner & Kasch in 2019.

Additionally, Toll has extensive experience working to deliver AI-powered data solutions to a variety of Fortune 1000 companies, including one of the largest clothing retailers in the U.S. where he and his team implemented a Data Science Center of Excellence that provided everything from predictive analytics for marketing to customer heat mapping and detecting the presence of personal protective equipment (PPE) on employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The data that is going to provide you with the greatest insights on planet Earth is visually represented data via video,” Toll added. “ISS has really dialed that in and as soon as I was introduced to the team, the capabilities and where the technology is headed, this was where I wanted to be.”

“Chris brings a refreshing point of view to an industry with many old challenges. His experience in data analytics, AI, and working with the private sector allows him to look at how to apply our solutions in innovative ways,” said Matt Powell, Managing Director for North America at ISS. “We are excited to have him join our team and bring experience and flexibility to our partners in the region.”

Toll resides in Annapolis, Md., with his spouse and their two children. He can be reached at
