Woodbridge, N.J., Nov. 9th, 2023 – ISS (Intelligent Security Systems), a leading global provider of video intelligence and data awareness solutions, announced today that it has hired Scott McGinnis to serve in the newly created role of Client Director – Healthcare Sector Leader.
As AI-powered video analytics continue to evolve and proliferate, the ability to adequately convey the benefits of video intelligence solutions will require specialists with individual market expertise that can speak to how these technologies address their unique needs. Having worked in the healthcare technology sector for more than 17 years, McGinnis brings a wealth of industry experience to his new role at ISS.
Prior to joining ISS, he served for 12 years at Securitas Healthcare (formerly Stanley Healthcare) where he ran and grew the company’s real-time location system (RTLS) business practice.
“I am thrilled to bring my years of industry experience to ISS to continue to build out our healthcare vertical practice,” said McGinnis. “The SecurOS Video Intelligence Platform is critical to enhancing staff, patient, and visitor protection in a variety of both acute and non-acute healthcare settings. Creating safer healthcare environments and helping facilities mitigate against acts of workplace violence are at the forefront of our platform and innovation.”
“SecurOS® is uniquely suited for the healthcare industry, blending video analytics, AI, and decision management into a single platform that allows healthcare providers a new level of awareness,” said Matt Powell, Managing Director for North America at ISS. “With the growing success we find in this space, we decided the time was right to focus on this market and Scott is the perfect person to carry forward the message of what SecurOS can do. He brings a unique background, strong relationships, and an eye toward the future of healthcare technology and we are excited to have him join our team.”
