CHeKT Releases 6.0 Platform Update for Proactive Video Security and Remote Monitoring

CHeKT 6.0 platform interface showcasing unified remote video monitoring, system partitioning and real-time security operations for enterprise environments.
CHeKT, a leader in proactive visual security, has announced the release of CHeKT 6.0, a major platform update designed to help security dealers, integrators and alarm monitoring centers deliver scalable video security services for commercial and enterprise customers.
The update introduces advanced system partitioning, unified monitoring workflows for Alarm.com, OpenEye and CHeKT connected camera deployments and expanded operational tools intended to improve efficiency and support remote video monitoring services. The company said the release is aimed at helping providers protect complex properties while improving service scalability and operational performance.
A key feature of CHeKT 6.0 is advanced system partitioning for the CHeKT Video Security System, which enables up to 16 independently controlled security areas within a single property. This allows security service providers to configure cameras, AI analytics, alarm workflows, user permissions and monitoring operations independently within each partition while still operating as part of a unified system.
“With CHeKT 6.0, we are giving security integrators and monitoring centers the tools to design proactive video security around the way modern properties actually operate,” said Wes Usie, President of CHeKT. “Partitions make it possible to keep critical areas and assets protected while allowing authorized activity in other parts of a property. This is an important step in helping the industry move beyond basic video verification toward scalable, proactive visual security services for commercial and enterprise customers.”
The company said the partitioning capability allows different areas of a property such as inventory yards, equipment storage, delivery entrances and high value zones to remain actively monitored while other areas are accessed by employees, vendors or approved users. Each partition can carry its own monitoring rules and service level, supporting more flexible deployment models and enabling tiered video monitoring services.
CHeKT 6.0 also unifies Remote Video Monitoring services for Alarm.com, OpenEye and CHeKT connected camera deployments within the CHeKT Video Monitoring Portal for 24/7 alarm monitoring centers. The integration is currently in Limited Availability and allows monitoring centers to deliver video services across multiple camera ecosystems through the CHeKT Video Control Panel.
When a critical event is detected, the platform provides monitoring operators with a unified view of live video, site context with video recordings and command and control tools including audio broadcasts, two-way audio, sirens, lighting and gate controls. This is designed to help monitoring centers standardize operations and improve consistency across video monitoring workflows.
Additional updates include interactive multi area site mapping that supports multiple areas within a single property, video monitoring portal session summaries that provide audit logs and response tracking and camera analytic metadata supervision that helps identify whether camera analytics are active, delayed or malfunctioning. The release also includes bulk camera add functionality to streamline large scale deployments.
“As cameras become more commonly used as security zones, it is essential that their detection performance is actively supervised,” said David Erickson, VP of Operations for CHeKT. “Security companies are increasingly relying on cameras as alarm detection points, and ensuring those devices can properly detect and communicate activity is not optional. For CHeKT, this is an essential function of a professional video security system.”
CHeKT said the platform combines live video, AI analytics, alarms and automated deterrence into a unified cloud native solution designed for proactive intervention and real time response. The company added that each release expands the addressable market for proactive video monitoring and supports recurring revenue opportunities for partners building services on the platform.
