William Plante is the Owner and Principal Partner of Trillium Consulting (www.trilliumconsultingusa.com), a Western NC-based security consulting firm with a focus on current and emerging security technologies and applications, risk evaluations, and program design/development. William has worked in the security industry for forty-five years as a Chief Security Officer, Independent Consultant, Business Continuity Director, and with several Integration firms serving primarily as a program director and consulting team leader. He is a former Navy Diver and Infantry Officer (Canada) and proud Maple Leaf fan!
Geva Barash
Geva Barash has worked in the physical security industry for 30 years. Before launching Secure Our City, he managed a security systems integrator and other companies that developed security products and solutions utilizing the latest digital technologies. Geva has worked with companies that introduced new technologies into the security market, including RFID technology. Having the manufacturers' and integrators' perspectives enables Geva to provide customers with the most balanced and comprehensive security solutions. Geva served nine years in the Israeli military, reaching the rank of Major in the Israeli Intelligence Services, and has been an active volunteer leader in several nonprofit efforts.
Sr Director of Marketing, Product Management, and Technical Services
Daniel has a degree in Computer Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and an MBA from The University of Georgia with a concentration in Marketing and Finance. As a director for Telguard, Daniel oversees technical services, product management, and marketing for Telguard, which allows him to not only stay in tune with the current state of the industry but also stay informed on the latest technological developments available to improve it.
With over 16 years in the industry, he has gained intimate knowledge in many segments of the industry, from security and life-safety, to residential, and commercial. As a technology-minded member of the industry, Daniel has been able to facilitate multiple lectures and in-depth educational sessions on broad topics relating to NFPA72, Cellular evolution, emerging technologies, IoT, and Security and Life Safety applications, as well as taken part in various NFPA, SIA, and UL committees and task groups. As a customer-focused leader, who believes that a strong support system is necessary for customer success, Daniel has driven initiatives for Telguard to not only innovate products but also the way we support our customers.
