ASSA ABLOY has introduced the ACCENTRA 6000 Series Exit Device with Motorized Electric Latch Retraction (MELR), designed to provide remote-controlled latch retraction for quieter and smoother operation.

The 6000 Series Exit Device can be installed in both new applications and upgrade applications, providing flexibility for different installation needs.

The MELR system features a maintenance-free design with few moving parts. According to ASSA ABLOY, it uses 86% less power consumption during retraction than solenoid devices.

MELR is powered by a standard power supply, which simplifies installation while increasing system design flexibility. The combination of remote-controlled operation and reduced power consumption is designed to provide convenient, hassle-free egress.
