A built-in proximity sensor automatically wakes and illuminates the LED-backlit keypad when someone approaches, improving visibility without requiring the user to touch the lock first.  

Through the Kwikset app, homeowners can create and manage up to 250 unique access codes for family members, guests and other authorized visitors. They can also review entry history and receive alerts following invalid code attempts, providing greater awareness of activity at the door.
