MDI lands federal contract

Company to provide security solutions for agencyĂ¢â‚¬â„¢s new office building

MDI announced Wednesday that their security systems and professional services group subsidiaries have combined forces to land a contract with the federal government to provide security solutions for the first phase of three-tiered security project in Washington, D.C.

According to a press release issued by the company, the undisclosed agencyĂ¢â‚¬â„¢s project will consolidate 1,500 people from 5 different locations into one building.

MDI Security Systems will install HSPD-12 compliant hardware and software applications in the new office building, while MDI Professional Services Group will provide a systems solution for the agency.

Work on the first phase of the project will take place over the next 30 to 60 days, according to MDI.
