Las Vegas, Nevada, March 27, 2023 New and emerging technologies take center stage in Las Vegas this week as ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in access solutions, showcases its latest innovations for comprehensive door security and access control at the 2023 ISC West Show at the Venetian Convention and Expo Center.

Featuring the theme of “Creating Access for the Future,” ASSA ABLOY showcases the next wave of door security solutions for building owners, facility managers, and occupants. “We are always thinking ahead on how to innovate solutions that provide smart access, solid security, and ultimately, occupant peace of mind,” says Angelo Faenza, Head of Digital Access Solutions at ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas.

Featured in ASSA ABLOY Booth #8061 are several of the company’s newest innovations and emerging technologies:

Medeco eCLIQ

Medeco eCLIQ is the newest addition to the ASSA ABLOY portfolio of Medeco CLIQ intelligent key systems. eCLIQ provides electronic access control without wiring and retrofits into existing doors and locks, and offers the strongest possible security and a high degree of encryption.

Medeco eCLIQ features a non-mechanical key blade which includes an embedded battery that powers the electronics in the cylinder, and a water resistance rating of IP67. It also features a Bluetooth activation switch and a longer battery life — up to 10-year extended battery life for user keys.

eCLIQ is ideal for a variety of applications including critical infrastructure, healthcare, retail, and education. It offers robust scheduling, auditing, and management of access rights through local, self-hosted, or web-hosted software. Medeco eCLIQ will launch initially to critical infrastructure, OEM, and unmanned infrastructure market segments.

HES 9200 Surface Mount Double Door
Electric Strike for use with Tubular Exit Devices

The innovative HES 9200 electric strike sets a new industry standard for glass openings with tubular, vertical rod exit devices. The 9200 offers simplified retro-mounted installation within the existing mechanical prep for easy installation without frame modifications. Integrated adjustability provides optimal latch positioning to accommodate demanding installations. With adaptable voltage sensing technology, no wiring selection is required. Additionally, the 9200 features field selectable fail safe/fail secure functionality and monitoring options to provide maximized versatility.

Adams Rite DL100 Aperio Wireless Deadlatch
with Card Reader for Aluminum Door Entrances

Ready for retrofit, renovation, or any commercial project with an existing MS door prep, the Adams Rite DL100 is an affordable retrofit solution that combines electrified locking hardware with an access control system in standard aluminium-stile doors. With the DL100, it is easy for integrators to upgrade mechanical openings to wireless access control and it easily interfaces with other access control elements to extend real-time security cost-effectively to more openings.

The DL100 uses low-energy motorized EcoLatch actuator technology for silent operation and provides a multiCLASS SE contactless card reader that supports 125 KHz and 13.56 MHz credentials, with optional support for BLE or NFC Mobile Access.

Ceco Door, Curries & Fleming EMI-RFI Shielding Assembly

The Ceco Door, Curries & Fleming EMI-RFI Shielding Assembly reduces the possibility of electronic interference from unwanted electromagnetic waves with other circuits or devices in healthcare, commercial, or government applications, while helping ensure sensitive and confidential information is secure and contained.

The Ceco Door EMI-RFI Shielding Assemblies are designed to provide EMI-RFI shielding of up to 103 db at 9 kHz-18 GHz per IEEE Std 299-2006.
