Automatic Systems Advances Access Control With SlimLane EVO, AS1 Gate Series and RevLock R20-4S

Automatic Systems, a manufacturer of secure pedestrian and vehicle entrance control access systems, has introduced several access control solutions designed to support modern security and architectural needs.

The new offerings include the SlimLane EVO optical turnstile, the AS1 gate family and the RevLock R20-4S revolving door, each designed to address different aspects of pedestrian and vehicle access control.

SlimLane EVO Optical Turnstile

The SlimLane EVO next-generation optical turnstile features a slender design paired with high-precision detection and a future-proof electronic and software platform. The cabinet design is customizable and designed for simplified installation.

Its modular security architecture supports a variety of applications, ranging from tailgating detection in busy lobbies to cybersecurity requirements for technology and finance environments. The turnstile’s extension post ecosystem is designed to accommodate emerging biometrics and access control technologies.

The EVO platform also includes a cybersecure software architecture that integrates with third-party systems. A brushless motor converts electrical energy to motion with improved efficiency, helping reduce power consumption and heat generation in high-traffic environments. The system requires little to no maintenance and is backed by a five-year warranty, supporting continuous operation in 24/7 security environments and high-throughput applications.

AS1 Gate Series

Automatic Systems also introduced its AS1 gate lineup, which includes models designed for parking facilities, perimeter protection and tolling environments.

The AS1 Park is designed for parking facilities and offers standard or articulated boom arms to accommodate sites with limited overhead clearance. Optional LED arm lighting can enhance visibility and security while helping maintain traffic flow.

The AS1 Guard provides perimeter protection for passage widths up to 23 feet. It features a motor and crank-shaft rod locking system that secures the boom arm in both open and closed positions for access control reliability.

The AS1 Toll is designed for toll environments with high operational demands. It features the Carbon Protecta boom arm, which is engineered to absorb impact forces and help minimize vehicle damage during high-speed collisions.

RevLock R20-4S Revolving Door

Automatic Systems also introduced the RevLock R20-4S, a four-wing all-glass security revolving door designed to combine transparency and security.

The door’s streamlined design is intended to integrate with modern architectural spaces while maintaining high throughput performance within a compact footprint. Motion-control technology and dedicated safety algorithms support smooth operation and reliability while providing continuous user protection. The system’s wing control mechanism maintains safe passage conditions during operation.
