Lockly Launches Visage Smart Lock With Facial Recognition Technology
The Lockly Visage smart lock combines facial recognition, biometric authentication and Apple Home compatibility in the company’s new Zeno Series lineup.
Lockly has introduced the Lockly Visage smart lock, the company’s first model to feature facial recognition technology for hands-free door unlocking.
Priced at $350, the Visage is part of Lockly’s new Zeno Series (ZS) lineup, which marks the company’s first smart locks designed for Apple Home compatibility and Home Key accessibility. Users can unlock the device by tapping it with an iPhone or Apple Watch, and the lock also supports Siri functionality.
The company said the Zeno Series models include built-in WiFi connectivity, allowing users to connect, control and monitor the lock remotely through the Lockly Home app without requiring an external hub.
The Visage combines binocular facial recognition and radar detection technology with a biometric fingerprint sensor to provide multiple authentication options for users. The lock also includes Lockly’s PIN Genie rotating digital keypad, which changes the position of keypad numbers to help prevent unwanted visitors from guessing entry codes.
Additional features include programmable auto-locking, remote door status alerts and voice control compatibility through Alexa and Google Assistant.
Lockly also introduced Air Transfer technology, which allows users to transfer profiles from one Lockly device to another through the app.
The Visage continues several features from previous Lockly smart lock models while adding new app-based functionality and Apple Home integration through the Zeno Series platform.
