Gunnebo Entrance Control has introduced QTicket, a ticket validation terminal designed to help venues manage visitor entry and support multiple entrance technologies across leisure, sport and entertainment environments.

According to the company, QTicket combines ticket validation and entrance control management within a single platform to support visitor processing at venues including stadiums, amusement parks, water parks, leisure centres and gyms.

The terminal supports multiple entrance technologies, including QR codes, RFID cards, wristbands and facial recognition, through a single validation platform. Gunnebo said this approach provides operators with a way to manage visitor flow while simplifying entrance control across different ticketing methods.

QTicket integrates with existing ticketing and entrance control systems through an open API architecture. The company said the platform enables venues to introduce new technologies or manage multiple credential types while maintaining operational continuity.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor environments, QTicket features a multilingual user interface and visual and audio guidance intended to support use by visitors and staff. The company said rapid credential verification can help reduce bottlenecks at entrances, while real-time validation supports oversight of authorized access.

The terminal can operate online or offline using locally stored data. According to Gunnebo, this capability helps venues maintain access operations during temporary network interruptions or connectivity issues.

The company also said QTicket was developed to help venues address concerns related to ticket misuse and credential sharing. Through real-time validation across multiple access formats, operators can maintain visibility into entry activity while managing different ticketing methods through a single platform.
