RecFaces Updates Id-Time with Integrated Workforce Management and Enhanced Facial Recognition Capabilities

RecFaces has released a major update to its Id-Time platform, adding integrated workforce time management, real-time monitoring and expanded enterprise infrastructure features.

RecFaces has announced a major update to Id-Time, its facial recognition solution for workforce time management, attendance control and operational visibility across enterprise facilities.

According to the company, the latest release expands Id-Time into a workforce time management and monitoring platform designed for organizations with complex structures, distributed locations, shift-based operations, high volumes of people and requirements for automation and accuracy.

The update introduces a biometric time and attendance module built directly into the platform. Organizations can manage work schedules, timesheets, attendance reports, overtime, undertime, breaks, absences, violations and automated notifications through a single interface. The company said the functionality gives HR teams, security personnel, facility managers and executives a unified view of employee attendance and workforce discipline.

RecFaces also upgraded the facial recognition algorithm powering Id-Time. The company said the new version uses an algorithm ranked among the top five globally by NIST and improves identification accuracy and consistency in environments with poor lighting, heavy foot traffic or partially visible faces.

The release also adds real-time monitoring and diagnostics dashboards for security teams, HR departments and managers. The dashboards provide visibility into system load, terminal status, camera performance, database diagnostics and the number of people currently on site. RecFaces said the feature can also support emergency response efforts by helping security teams determine how many people are located in a specific area.

Reporting capabilities have also been expanded with more than 10 report types, including attendance summaries, worked time, overtime, undertime, violations, visitor activity and presence monitoring. Reports can be exported in Excel, CSV and PDF formats for payroll processing, HR analysis or API integration with external systems.

The updated platform also introduces visitor flow monitoring, allowing organizations to track visitors separately from employees. The feature records visitor time on site, first and last passage and daily statistics while automatically recording one-time visits and allowing temporary visitor profiles to be deactivated on schedule.

Farida Baichora, Product Owner at RecFaces, said the release was developed around customer feedback and business requirements.

"At RecFaces, we always build our products around the needs of our clients. While working on this Id-Time update, we analyzed customer requests, market expectations, competitor capabilities, and real user experience, and brought all of this into one product vision. As a result, we created a solution that helps businesses save time, reduce costs, and clearly see what is happening at their facilities. This release is not only about new functionality — it is about making biometric workforce management more practical, flexible, and valuable for everyday operations. We will continue collecting user feedback, improving the product, providing human technical support, and releasing updates based on real business needs."

Additional enhancements include expanded biometric profiles and organizational management features that support employee photos, departments, positions, profile types, vacation tracking, sick leave and attendance policies across distributed organizational structures.

RecFaces also introduced infrastructure updates for enterprise deployments. Id-Time now supports Debian GNU/Linux 13.5 "Trixie" and includes an offline mode for video preprocessing servers that allows identification events to be processed and stored locally before automatically synchronizing with the central server when connectivity is restored.

The notification system has been enhanced with Email and Webhook delivery mechanisms supporting configurable templates for access events, labor discipline monitoring, system monitoring, password recovery, compromise alerts and SMTP checks.

The company also updated the user interface with redesigned navigation, compact table views, improved filtering, hotkeys, favorites, an enhanced dark theme, updated Email and Webhook settings, improved CSV imports and a revised organizational hierarchy.

RecFaces said the latest release brings together facial recognition, attendance management, real-time monitoring, visitor analytics, reporting and enterprise infrastructure capabilities in a single biometric workforce management platform.
