Informational meeting to include discussion on alarm ordinances in East St. Louis, Alton

The Illinois Electronic Security Association announced this week that it will host a meeting next month with industry attorneys Edward Williams and Timothy Gutknecht, who will discuss alarm ordinances in East St. Louis and Alton.

In an email to members, the IESA said that both Williams and Gutknecht have extensive experience in both civil and commercial litigation in state and federal courts.

Williams will also present his "PERC (Personal Employee Registration Card) Nuts & Bolts" seminar for a fraction of the cost to members at the meeting, which is scheduled to take place on May 2 at the Shrine Restaurant in Belleville, Ill. The seminar is geared toward existing agencies that need a refresher course on PERC registration and recordkeeping and a single company representative will be to attend for just $125.

The informational meeting will take place from 1-2 p.m., after which the PERC seminar will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
