The Georgia Electronic Life Safety and Security Association (GELSSA) recently announced that it will be co-hosting a meeting with the Fayetteville Police Department later this month regarding the city’s new alarm ordinance.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on June 8 at 10 a.m. inside the Fayetteville Police Department located at 760 Jimmie Mayfield Boulevard.
In late March, the city announced that its police department was launching a new False Alarm Reduction Program, which will track the location of false alarms and issue fines to home and business owners that have repeated false alarms. In addition, Fayetteville has also made it mandatory for alarm users to register their systems with the city. Click here to read more information about the ordinance.
