MMW-3 series mmWave 60GHz radar sensors are designed for precise detection, physical presence of a person or subtle detection of human movements. Offered as either MMW-3S spot coverage or MMW-3W wide coverage patterns with a detection range of 11.5 feet.  

Designed for indoor use and can be surface mounted to wall or ceiling or can be concealed behind wall board or ceiling tiles for discrete invisible detection. Excellent for use in art galleries or museums where sensor can be placed behind artwork. Use for triggering kiosks or museum displays where lights or video presentations are activated by a guest. Commercial businesses where restroom or changing room overstays are a concern, these sensors provide indication if room is occupied whether there is internal movement in the room or not.  

Touchless switch or lighting control is another application that extends use of sensor beyond traditional security applications.  

Easy mount removable back plate, easy to wire press fit terminals, sensor is powered by 9VDC to 28VDC non-polarity and only draws 40mA.
