HID FIT Ceramic Micro 100 UHF Tag

Delivers accurate, secure asset identification.

UHF tags are small wireless devices that use radio waves to identify and track assets, without needing line of sight or a direct scan. Most UHF tags lose reliability once they're built below a certain size. Below a certain footprint, read range and durability drop off sharply, which has historically left an entire category of assets, individual keys, small hand tools and other compact items, outside the reach of RFID tracking. Organizations in manufacturing and industrial environments have had to fall back on manual counts or cabinet-level tracking rather than item-level visibility.

HID developed the FIT Ceramic Micro 100 UHF Tag to close this gap. Its rugged ceramic construction preserves read range and durability at a scale where conventional tags typically sacrifice one for the other, letting organizations embed it directly into assets that are too small for prior RFID solutions to identify reliably, such as small tools and highly sensitive equipment.

The FIT Ceramic Micro 100 delivers accurate, secure asset identification where reliability is essential and every millimeter matters. The result is item-level visibility and product authentication capabilities that were not previously possible.

“The FIT Ceramic Micro 100 extends RFID tracking to small tools and assets once considered too small to track reliably, opening new possibilities for visibility, security, and asset management.”
