EyeOTmonitor’s Events & Alerts feature is built for teams who need real visibility into their networks—without getting overwhelmed by unnecessary noise. It’s not just about throwing alerts at you; it’s about showing you what’s actually important and helping you respond faster.

Everything that happens across your devices—interface flaps, signal drops, CPU spikes, no video traffic from the camera to the VMS—gets logged and organized in one place. You can filter, search, and trace these events over time, making it easier to spot patterns or dig into problems when something goes wrong

The system isn’t just logging issues; it knows how serious they are. You can set thresholds and rules that define what’s considered a warning, a critical issue, or something to ignore. Want to be alerted only if CPU usage is above 85% for more than 10 minutes? Easy. Want to avoid getting 10 alerts for a momentary blip? Just use the built-in hold-down timers.

You can tag devices and their properties—like “Access Cameras,” “RSSI,” or “Uplink Interfaces”—and then apply rules to those tags. So if you want one rule to monitor signal strength across every radio you own, you can do that without writing separate logic for each one.

Not all devices are equal. If you want core switches or critical uplinks to show up first when there’s trouble, just assign them higher priority. That way, when you open the dashboard or receive an alert, you’ll know what to focus on first.

EyeOTmonitor’s Events & Alerts were built by people who’ve worked in the field and understand how frustrating alert fatigue can be. The goal is simple: give you the right info, at the right time, in the right format—so you can take action, stay ahead of problems, and keep your network running smoothly.
