Guardian Fire Protection Services, based in Rockville, Maryland, has launched Veriguard Fire & Security as a national identity for its family of local operating companies.

The local companies will retain their existing brand names, teams, products and services, with no service interruptions, according to an announcement. Guardian will remain a local operating brand focused on the Mid-Atlantic.

The Veriguard platform brings together the companies’ resources, expertise and geographic reach to support customers, particularly those operating across multiple regions and brands.

“While Veriguard is a new name, it stands for the same company, people, products, and services our customers have relied on for decades,” said Scott Agge, CEO of Veriguard Fire & Security.

The business began nearly 50 years ago with one Rockville location. Today, it operates 25 branches serving more than 100,000 customers across 12 states in the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Northeast.

Services include inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, monitoring and installation. In-house teams perform more than 98% of its work.

Veriguard serves industries including grocery, retail, hospitality, multifamily residential, property management, marine and warehousing and distribution.
