Wavestore launches WaveFusion Unified Security Platform

Wavestore has launched WaveFusion, a unified physical security management solution that combines video surveillance, access control, intrusion and IoT devices into a cloud-first, open API platform.
The company said WaveFusion was built natively for modern environments rather than adapted from legacy systems. The platform manages video footage, handles access control events and controls analytics from a single browser or mobile interface, eliminating the need to switch between multiple systems. It gathers and escalates relevant data in real time, which Wavestore said enables faster deployments, lowers operational complexity and improves the user experience.
The platform automates events and allows devices and sensors, including cameras and access control readers, to send real-time information and notifications. Intelligent processing creates situational context and can trigger predefined or automated responses within the same interface.
“An open, consolidated platform fosters what’s happening in the physical security industry: the continued integration of new systems, data points and IoT devices,” said Sam Shalaby, CEO of Wavestore. “WaveFusion is optimized for the end-user, integrator and VAR experience based on years of knowledge and feedback from the fields of access control and VMS. It’s unification in practice, allowing users to add the latest technologies and scale up their systems easily.”
Among its features, WaveFusion includes a cloud-native, AWS-powered access control foundation with automation and alerts, cloud resilience designed to protect data and live interactive maps and floorplans showing connected devices. Additional capabilities include integrated video intelligence and forensics for live monitoring and rapid access to recorded footage, as well as system health monitoring showing server status, device connectivity and hardware conditions.
A second phase planned for later this spring will add enhanced analytics, machine-learning insights, expanded integrations and additional automation. Wavestore plans to demonstrate WaveFusion at ISC West 2026 in Las Vegas.
