ADT has unveiled a renovated monitoring center in Irving, Texas, as part of a more than $2 million investment in its facility. The announcement coincided with National First Responders Day and included recognition of monitoring professionals and local first responders, along with $30,000 in donations to support first responder organizations.

The renovated center features upgraded equipment, improved workspaces and collaborative areas for ADT’s monitoring professionals. The project also established dedicated space for product, technology and monitoring teams to work together on improvements to the customer experience.

ADT’s Irving facility handles a significant portion of the company’s professional monitoring activity. The renovation was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by an event recognizing employees and local first responders.

During the event, ADT leadership honored nine monitoring professionals for their responses to fire and medical alarms, coordination of emergency response and assistance to customers during critical situations.

The company also announced $30,000 in donations through Safe Places, ADT’s corporate giving program. The contributions include $15,000 for the Irving Police Athletic League and $15,000 for Grey Matters to Firefighters, an Irving organization focused on raising awareness of cancer risks faced by firefighters.

“Today is about recognizing the people who are there when our customers and communities need them most,” said Fawad Ahmad, chief operating and customer officer at ADT. “Thank you to our monitoring professionals who work around the clock to provide peace of mind for our customers and the first responders who answer the call and serve their communities. We're also proud of the investment we've made in Irving, which supports our teams and the important work they do.”

The Irving facility is one of six company-owned and operated monitoring centers ADT maintains across the United States. Together, the centers form what the company describes as the industry's largest network of company-operated monitoring centers.
