VidSys' Steve Dillingham receives 2014 ONVIF Award

Award recognizes security industry leaders and influencers who are shaping the adoption of open standards

VIENNA, Va., – December 15, 2014 – VidSys, a leading global provider of Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, is pleased to announce that software engineer Steve Dillingham was selected as one of five recipients 2014 ONVIF Awards, which recognizes security industry leaders and influencers who are shaping the adoption of open standards. 

Dillingham chaired the Profile G working group that set device standards for storage and retrieval of recorded video on cameras and networked video recorders and client systems such as video management, building management and PSIMs.  In addition, he served on the Client Testing working group that established interoperability requirements for all ONVIF compliant devices and clients.
