Led by Select Security's Steve Firestone, the group outlines new mission and initiatives

Irving, TX (August 17, 2016) – The Electronic Security Association (ESA) is announcing the relaunch of their Executive Management Professionals (EMP) group.  The EMP group is comprised of senior and executive level representatives of ESA member companies and guided by a leadership group that has developed the strategy and will drive the execution of refocused initiatives. The newly-structured professional group is led by recently appointed EMP Chairman Steve Firestone, president of Select Security. Firestone is steadfast in his efforts to deliver increased value to EMP members and the industry as a whole.

The EMP’s are proudly announcing their updated mission and dedication to providing ESA members additional value through contributions and a focus on four key initiatives including, workplace development and recruiting efforts, industry beneficial research, public relations, and peer-to-peer professional development through EMP Forums.

These forum meetings will occur at national events such as the ESA Leadership Summit and Electronic Security Expo, as well as in smaller settings.   The goal is to deliver solutions concerning industry issues, general business operations and personal development that also add value to ESA member companies through the four EMP initiatives mentioned above.

“We are thrilled to be announcing the relaunch of the EMP group. I’m excited about the Forums and other changes to the group’s goals that will allow more people to help lead the industry,” said EMP Chairman, Steve Firestone.

The EMP group and its leadership, led by Firestone, held a preliminary meeting to solidify the group’s direction and new initiatives at ESX 2016 in Fort Worth, TX.

The Executive Management Professionals group is set to continue their refreshed focus with a national forum meeting at the 2017 ESA Leadership Summit in Tampa, FL.
