Eagle Eye Networks Launches Remote Video Monitoring Solution
Eagle Eye Networks, a global provider of cloud video surveillance, has introduced Eagle Eye Remote Video Monitoring, a solution designed to detect, intervene and prevent crime before it occurs.
The new service combines AI-driven video analytics with professional monitoring agents to deliver 24/7 protection at a fraction of the cost of traditional security guards.
The system proactively deters trespassing, vandalism, theft, loitering and other criminal activities. It is suited for commercial properties, multifamily communities, construction sites, car dealerships, industrial parks, schools, retail spaces, logistics facilities and other locations that typically rely on on-site guards.
Technology behind the service
Eagle Eye Remote Video Monitoring uses the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS platform to stream video from cameras, where advanced AI analytics distinguish legitimate threats such as unauthorized people or vehicles from harmless movements caused by wind, shadows or lighting.
Threats identified by the AI are reviewed by professional monitoring centers that use live talk-downs, alarms and law enforcement dispatch to stop incidents before they escalate. Business owners receive notifications based on their preferred protocols.
The solution is said to offer several benefits, including a 50-90% reduction in security costs compared with guard services. It requires no additional hardware and provides features such as Precision Person & Vehicle Detection to minimize false alarms, customizable monitoring hours, quick activation within one to two days and flat-rate pricing per camera with no per-event fees. It is compatible with more than 7,000 camera models.
Monitoring partnerships in place
Eagle Eye partners with a network of professional monitoring companies to deliver the service, including Acadian Monitoring Services, Blue Eye, CAP Global Monitoring, and Totem.
“Eagle Eye Remote Video Monitoring brings the benefits of smart AI-powered video surveillance and highly trained security professionals together in a single solution to deliver a new level of proactive security to deter crime, cut costs, help law enforcement, and provide security around the clock,” said Dean Drako, CEO of Eagle Eye Networks.
Executives from partner companies highlighted the value of the collaboration. Brandon Niles of Acadian Monitoring Services said the partnership enables customized solutions that improve prevention and apprehension. Blue Eye CEO Steve Jackson noted the cloud-based system’s ability to reduce hardware costs while providing strong ROI. Totem CEO Luis Fernando Uribe Blum said the integration delivers smarter and more cost-effective protection, and CAP Global Monitoring Deputy CEO Sean Jammy emphasized its reliability and scalability for high-pressure environments.
The new offering follows the recent unveiling of Eagle Eye Gun Detection, an AI-enabled video analytic integrated into the company's security platform.
