NAPCO Security Technologies has released the latest version of its MVP Access cloud-based access control platform, adding new capabilities to strengthen integration between physical security, video and IT infrastructure.

The updated platform introduces Single Sign-On (SSO), automated user provisioning through Microsoft Entra ID, new video management system integrations and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), among other enhancements.

MVP Access is a scalable, unified cloud platform designed for installations ranging from a single door to enterprise systems with thousands of openings. The platform combines access control, video, badging, security integration and wireless networked locking through a monthly per-door cloud service.

Systems can be deployed using NAPCO's MVP-EZ App and its Scan2Enroll feature, which enrolls controllers and locks by scanning a QR code. Users can manage credentials, schedules and security through the app or a customizable web browser interface. The platform supports NAPCO cloud-ready controllers, readers, multi-technology wireless locks, mobile credentials and multiple credential technologies.

The latest release adds SSO and automated user provisioning through Microsoft Entra ID, allowing organizations to authenticate users with existing corporate credentials while simplifying IT administration and employee onboarding and offboarding.

New integrations with ExacqVision and Milestone XProtect video management systems expand the platform's video capabilities alongside existing support for Hanwha Wave and DW. The integrations allow operators to access access events, live and recorded video, alarms, users and remote door controls from a single interface.

The release also introduces MFA support for Microsoft Authenticator and Google Authenticator to provide an additional layer of protection against unauthorized account access.
