Juniper Networks has released the NetScreen Remote Access 500, an SSL (secure sockets layer) VPN (virtual private network) solutions for small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Built upon the Juniper Networks Instant Virtual Extranet (IVE) platform, the new NetScreen Remote Access 500 series uses SSL-based transport to provide secure remote access via any Web browser without the need for client software distribution, maintenance and support.
The NetScreen Remote Access 500 series complements the existing Juniper Networks NetScreen Secure Access product family, which offers access options for intranet and extranet environments.
Both product lines leverage the security design of the IVE platform, including enterprise strength authentication, authorisation and auditing (AAA), comprehensive endpoint security, and a core security architecture that has been audited by third-party security experts, such as TruSecure Corporation, Cryptography Research, and certified by ICSA Labs.
The Juniper Networks NetScreen Remote Access 500 series is available now through Juniper Network partners with prices starting at US$4,600 for 10 concurrent users.
