Sorrentino and Constantine named as VPs at security products distributor
ScanSource Security, a security products distributor based out of Greenville, S.C., announced today changes to the company's management team. Among the changes was the naming of Tony Sorrentino to vice president of sales and Paul Constantine to vice president of merchandising. Sorrentino has been with ScanSource Security since 2004, when the security division was created (ScanSource is also a distributor of business and networking products and solutions). He had served as vice president of merchandising at ScanSource Security, and before that was the director of merchandising for the company's POS and barcoding sales unit. ScanSource reports that he has nine years of experience in the distribution business. Replacing Sorrentino as he moves from vice president of merchandising to vice president of sales is Paul Constantine, who moves from ScanSource Inc. where he headed up value-added service offerings for resellers as the vice president of solutions. Like Sorrentino, Constantine is a former vice president of the company's POS and barcoding unit. ScanSource's president of worldwide operations Scott Benbenek credited both Sorrentino and Constantine for the growth of ScanSource.
