i-PRO Co., Ltd. is restructuring its Americas business into four dedicated Virtual Companies and appointing James Rothstein as President and CEO of i-PRO Americas, effective Nov. 1, 2026.
The new organizational structure is intended to strengthen the company’s focus on key markets, provide more specialized leadership and support its next phase of growth across the region. Each Virtual Company will have dedicated leadership and accountability for its results.
The four Virtual Companies will be i-PRO Edge Technology, Video Insight, i-PRO Public Safety and i-PRO Medical Vision of Americas. According to i-PRO, the structure will allow the company to better address the distinct needs of each market, strengthen customer and partner engagement and align business priorities with emerging opportunities.
Rothstein will report directly to Masato Nakao, President and CEO of i-PRO Group. He joined i-PRO in 2024 as Global Executive Advisor and has served on the i-PRO Board since July 2025, working with the leadership team on go-to-market strategy and global growth.
With more than 30 years of executive experience in the security industry, Rothstein previously served as Chairman of the Security Industry Association Board of Directors. He also was an operating partner at New York-based private equity firm Lee Equity and Senior Vice President of Global Security Solutions at Anixter International, where he oversaw the company’s $2 billion global security and fire business.
Earlier in his career, Rothstein served as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Executive Vice President and Principal at Tri-Ed Distribution, then North America’s largest independent security distributor. Anixter acquired Tri-Ed in 2015.
i-PRO said Rothstein’s experience working with distributors, integrators and channel partners positions him to lead the Americas business through its next phase of growth.
Leadership Changes Across Virtual Companies
Masami Eguchi, the current President of i-PRO Americas, will become President of the Video Insight Virtual Company. In this role, Eguchi will provide dedicated leadership to a business with distinct customer needs and opportunities for specialized solutions.
Nick Toth, currently Senior Vice President of Security, will become President of the i-PRO Edge Technology Virtual Company. He will lead the development of the strategic growth area, with a focus on Edge AI innovation and its potential across the Americas.
The reorganization is intended to combine regional leadership with deeper market expertise while aligning resources and priorities across the company’s four strategic business areas.
“The Americas is one of i-PRO’s most important regions, and this new structure gives each of our businesses the dedicated leadership and focus it needs to grow,” Nakao said. “James brings deep industry experience and market insight. Together with Masami, Nick and our teams across the region, I am confident i-PRO Americas is well positioned for its next phase of growth.”
Rothstein said his initial focus will be on engaging with customers, partners and employees as the company implements the new structure.
“This is an exciting moment for i-PRO in the Americas,” Rothstein said. “Organizing around four Virtual Companies lets us bring sharper focus and deeper expertise to each market we serve. My first priority is to listen to our customers, partners and employees, and to build on the strong foundation our teams have created.”
Partner Relationships Remain Unchanged
Despite the organizational changes, i-PRO said its existing relationships with channel partners, distributors and systems integrators across the Americas will continue without changes to current partner programs and agreements.
Partners should continue working with their existing i-PRO contacts. The company said the new structure is intended to provide more focused support, deeper market expertise and dedicated leadership across the markets it serves.
The new leadership structure and Virtual Company organization will take effect Nov. 1, 2026.
