This year’s edition of the Barnes Buchanan Conference has been canceled, according to a statement issued by the conference on Friday.
"Meeting virtually allows the opportunity to share content, but it is impossible to replicate the person-to-person networking and deal-making that is the hallmark of the conference," the statement read.
Despite the event’s cancelation, however, Barnes Associates said it is still working on its annual Alarm Industry and Market Overview, which should be available sometime in March.
Next year’s conference is scheduled to take place Feb. 10-12 at The Breakers in Palm Beach. Fla.
