Preferred Technologies Opens New Office to Support North Houston Growth

Preferred Technologies (Pref-Tech), a Texas-based enterprise security integrator, marked the opening of its new Conroe office on January 15 with a grand opening event attended by more than 100 customers, partners, local officials and community members.

The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided tours of the facility and opportunities for attendees to meet with the Pref-Tech team and view the new space.

According to the company, the Conroe location expands Pref-Tech’s ability to self-perform complex security projects while strengthening support for enterprise customers across Montgomery County and the north Houston metro area.

The office is intended to serve both public and private organizations and function as a regional hub to improve response times and address growing demand for access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and other advanced security solutions.

The new office represents a milestone in Pref-Tech’s continued growth across the Greater Houston region and the state, according to the company.
