Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Union AlarmTronic LLC, a Springfield, New Jersey-based security alarm company, expanding Pye-Barker’s security operations in the state.

Union AlarmTronic, established in 1989, has completed more than 20,000 security installations. The company provides access control, video surveillance, intercom, integrated security and alarm systems.

The company is led by owner Fred Rosenfeld, who entered the security business with his father, Len Rosenfeld.

“We have proudly protected people and property and provided high-caliber service to customers in New Jersey for decades,” Rosenfeld said. “With Pye-Barker, we will continue our commitment to install and maintain security systems that protect customers while being able to offer expanded full-service fire protection.”

Pye-Barker said the acquisition deepens its security capabilities, expertise and local service presence in New Jersey.

Union AlarmTronic’s technicians will continue serving customers in New Jersey following the acquisition.

Pye-Barker provides fire protection, life safety and security systems nationwide. The company has more than 250 locations and 9,000 employees.
