SecurityTrax’s updated platform lets security dealers manage leads, schedule installations and connect accounts to monitoring services in one system.

SecurityTrax has launched an updated version of its customer relationship management and enterprise resource planning platform for security dealers. The platform is available now.

The software brings sales and service tasks into one system, from capturing leads and signing contracts to scheduling technicians, managing inventory, connecting monitoring services and billing customers. The update adds a redesigned mobile interface, sitewide search, dark mode, themes, guided workflows and onboarding checklists.

“The dealers who struggle are often the ones spending more time managing disconnected systems than serving their customers,” said Jeff Hansen, president of SecurityTrax. “SecurityTrax was built to change that.”

AI tools for lead and customer records

A chat assistant lets users ask questions in plain language from a lead or customer record, such as how much a customer owes and when they last made a payment. One-click tools and prompts set by administrators can handle tasks such as summarizing a customer’s note history.

Dealers can also set rules that trigger AI actions when an account event occurs. For example, the platform can summarize a new web lead and route it to a sales representative. SecurityTrax says the AI can access only the information the logged-in user is authorized to see.

Billing and operations updates

The release adds consolidated billing for operators with multiple locations, a unified accounting engine with a new journal system and tools for calculating payroll. It also introduces SecurityTrax eDocs, which handles electronic documents and signatures within the platform.

Other changes include a unified calendar, address and property-owner verification, a license catalog, a tool for managing government regulations, a new Brinks integration, support for OpenID Connect single sign-on and updated reporting.

SecurityTrax was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Provo, Utah. Alarm.com acquired the company in March 2015. Its customers include SafeHaven Security, Skyline Security and central station a.p.i. Alarm.
