The show must go on for ISC West, and as many security professionals formulate a plan of attack for the show, it is important to remember the vast educational opportunities available. The majority of this year’s SIA Education@ISC educational sessions will be made available both in person and online as part of ISC West’s hybrid format.

SIA is offering a Security Project Management Training Seminar, a 2.5-day instructor-led training program that teaches integrators, installers, and end-users who manage security projects to gain a full understanding of how to effectively plan, implement, manage and monitor a project from bid to close. Learn more at www.securityindustry.org/professional-development/security-project-manager-training. This class will culminate with a SIA Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) Certification Exam on Jul 21 at 1 p.m.

The show will also feature two keynotes. Dave Komendat, VP & Chief Security Officer for Boeing, will share his thoughts on how the security industry will recover and grow once the pandemic subsides (July 19, 11:15 a.m.). James A. Gagliano, a retired FBI professional, will highlight essential 21st century adjustments in law enforcement and security postures (July 20, 8:45 a.m.).

Beyond those opportunities, here is a list of a handful of individual education sessions that should be appealing to security integrators. Be sure to confirm availability and schedule changes by double checking each one at www.iscwest.com/en-us/session-list.html#/sessions.
