We are SO back baby!
After COVID cast a long and dark shadow on the future of live events and networking in the security industry, the 2024 version of ISC West was truly a step back into the light.
When anyone described the show, the sheer volume of attendees, sessions and exhibitors made everyone forget how much their feet ached.
As someone who – gulp – was attending his 21st version of the show, it was a true return to the good old days. For the first time in I can’t even remember, as we packed up the booth and the lights went out on Friday, I wished I still had more time to learn, network, and conduct business. But the best part, by far, was the times off the show floor – reconnecting with friends and colleagues, staff dinners, tired drinks with pals, and of course, my world-famous Mission 500 2K selfie extravaganza!
Here’s hoping every industry event can be as rewarding and fulfilling as this one. This industry is chock full of amazing people...I’m just thrilled to be able to pose in some happy photos with them.
