ISC West 2026 Closes With Expanded Sessions, New Features and 29K Attendees
ISC West 2026, billed as the nation's leading comprehensive and converged security trade event, concluded last week at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas after five days of programming that drew more than 29,000 security professionals and more than 750 exhibiting brands from around the world.
The event, hosted in collaboration with premier sponsor the Security Industry Association (SIA), centered on the growing intersection between physical protection and IT infrastructure. Two new features made their debut this year: the Security Experience Center and the Digital Trust & Identity Featured Area. In an announcement, organizers said the additions reinforced the show's positioning as a bridge between physical, IT and Internet of Things (IoT) security.
Mary Beth Shaughnessy, event vice president at ISC Security Events, said the 2026 edition represented a landmark moment for the industry. "From the high-energy launch of ISC StartUps to the deep technical dives in our AI-powered learning sessions, this week proved that our community is no longer just managing risk — we are architecting resilience," she said.
The Main Stage keynote series drew on a lineup that included Haywood Talcove of LexisNexis Risk Solutions and Paul Eckloff, a former U.S. Secret Service agent, who addressed how emerging technologies and identity fraud have shifted security's front lines. Keith White of Salesforce discussed the evolution of corporate protection in a digital-first world, and Dr. Jessica Barker MBE examined the human factor and the psychology behind cyber-attacks.
The Security Experience Center offered attendees a live, immersive demonstration of how biometrics, environmental sensors and human decision-making integrate in real time to secure modern commercial spaces.
A new program called ISC StartUps made its inaugural appearance, giving integrators and investors an early look at emerging technologies ranging from agentic AI to autonomous security operations. The Cyber Hub, developed in collaboration with the SIA Cybersecurity Advisory Board, featured live hacking exercises in which attendees competed against the Cal Poly Pomona Cyber Team. The hub was located within the Cybersecurity & IoT pavilion, described by organizers as one of the fastest-growing destinations at the show.
The SIA Education@ISC West program integrated the Rozie.AI Synopsis platform for the first time, providing AI-driven summaries and real-time translations across more than 120 sessions. A new offering called ISC Pro — described as a sold-out attendee experience — included access to a dedicated lounge, fast-lane badge pickup and enhanced networking opportunities.
SIA CEO Don Erickson called the show "an outstanding success," noting that the 2026 education program featured more sessions than any previous year. "We saw tremendous turnout at SIA's events and activities during the show, including premier networking offerings, The Advance membership meeting, the SIA New Products and Solutions Awards, professional growth events on utility security and data center security and gatherings of SIA's communities for young professionals, veterans, women, end users and startups," Erickson said.
ISC West is scheduled to return to Las Vegas, April 5-9, 2027. The next event on the ISC calendar is ISC East, taking place Nov. 3-5, 2026, at The Javits Center in New York City, with the exhibit hall open Nov. 4-5.
