Gallagher Security Introduces F5 and F6 Fence Controllers for Advanced Perimeter Protection

Gallagher Security has announced the release of its F5 and F6 Fence Controllers, representing the latest generation of safety monitored pulse fence technology aimed at modern security environments.

The new controllers are designed to enhance safety, performance, and reliability while supporting high-performance perimeter protection. According to the company, the F5 and F6 models deliver intelligent intrusion detection, flexible deployment options, and enhanced safety functionality aligned with current international standards. Both controllers are built to comply with IEC 60335-2-76 along with multiple regional variants to support long-term operational viability.

Dave Solly, Senior Product Manager at Gallagher Security, said the company’s perimeter solutions are designed to deter, detect, and delay intruders while providing flexible protection tailored to site-specific requirements.

“Regardless of what you are securing, whether critical infrastructure like utilities, remote facilities like mining, or transport and logistics yards, the new F5 and F6 Fence Controllers take safety to the next level, with enhanced features like smart synchronisation enabling compliance to the newly introduced ‘safe limits’ for operation of energised fences. The F6 series includes several advanced capabilities such as Smart Synchronisation, Safety Extra Low Voltage readiness to detect movement in sensitive areas without deterrence, and Dual Pulse Peak Measurement, which enhances alarm functionality for high-specification fences using dual pulse configuration.

Gallagher stated that the new controllers are compatible with Command Centre v9.40 and above while maintaining consistency with earlier models to simplify installation. The company noted that adaptability across a wide range of sites was a key focus in the design process.

“The F5 and F6 series are designed to operate independently or seamlessly integrate with the award-winning Gallagher Controller 7000 series and Gallagher Command Centre ecosystem, giving End Users a scalable pathway from single-zone protection to layered, multi-zone, and multi-controller installations,” Solly said.

Solly added that as security environments evolve, organizations require greater intelligence and flexibility from perimeter systems. He said the new series delivers advanced features and future-ready capabilities, including Smart Sync technology that maintains consistent pulse synchronisation and automatically adjusts energy levels if a sync signal is lost to ensure safe operation.

“With support for standalone or networked installations, dual-zone configurations, and full integration with Gallagher Command Centre, the F5 and F6 Fence Controllers provide unmatched scalability and adaptability for sites of any size,” he said.
